Alan was born at Swedish hospital in Seattle and has been here in Washington since. Went to Mt. Rainier high school in Des Monies (Class of 72) and then went into the United States Marine Corps. It was while in the Marines while serving as a Marine Security Guard at the American Embassy in San Jose Costa Rica that he started what he had wanted to do since age 13, to be a broadcaster.

Alan got to know the locals in Costa Rica and started Scorpio 75, a two hour English/Spanish weekday evening top 40 radio program on Radio Uno. Although the show was a hit it's funny to get the tapes out and listen to his first time on the radio!

After the Marines he went to school and studied broadcasting and later worked at KRKO in Everett, KQIN in Burien, KAYO Seattle, KUBE Seattle, KVI Seattle, K106 (KRPM) Seattle, KAYO Olympia and now at 97-7 The Eagle.

He is also pursuing an acting and voice over career. He has been in plays, sang on stage with Alabama and The Beach Boys, done TV Commercials, radio commercials, voice work and hopes to continue on to bigger and better parts.
